This play revolves around Byomkesh, a playwright, and Kak (crow). Byomkesh is in search of a plot for his next play, where he wants to potray common people who he believes are conscientious and sincere. Each time Byomkesh meets his "ideal" hero (like Dr. Das and Sadhu Baba and his chela) the Kak exposes his true charitra (character).
