Find the Ball
- This is a two or more person game in which one person hides the ball under one of the colored bowls. This person then moves the bowls around in a random way so as to confuse the others around him about where the ball is hidden.
- The bowls will be different colors on the inside but will be identical on the outside. This will make the children have to pay attention to where the ball is. The color on the inside will enforce the idea that even though the bowls have been moved around, the ball is still in the same one it started in.
- This toy is based on the principle of memory and spacial relations. When children are young they don't understand that if an object is moved out of their sight, it is still there. This is another key principle of the toy.
- The construction cost would be small, bowls could be made out of any wood or plastic material, as could the ball.
- This toy will be safe becasue all the pieces will be made to be too large to swallow.
- The material is durable and should not break, although there is the possibility of losing pieces
