The Peg Board Machine

Description:

• Consists of a wooden peg board on vertical stands
• The kit comes with many simple machines (see-saws, pulleys, trap-doors) that can be pegged onto the board to create a path for the marble to roll down
• a brief discussion of construction cost, durability and safety.

Durability

• Materials = Wood for peg board, Wood+plastic for pieces
• Wood will make the peg board sturdy, maybe not something that can be stocked away in a cabinet but a lot more fun to play with than plastic
• The wooden structure should be very sturdy. Current Marble-Run toys use the same materials

Safety

• Ages 6+
• Includes Marbles and small parts
• Needs crude understanding of basic things like gravity.

Cost

• $100, for board and some machines + marbles.
• Upgrade kits so you can buy more pieces or expansions to the peg board.
