Abstract

 

General Dynamics Robotic Systems continues to develop and improve autonomous mobility for its ground vehicles.  We will show details of current programs and technologies developed at GD and in collaboration with other institutions, including CMU.  Emphasis will be on software architecture and sensor processing, with ample time for questions and discussion.

 

Speaker Biography

 

Brad Stuart studied for his B.A. in Liberal Arts at St. John’s College, and Ph.D. in Computer Science at the University of Maryland. Research interests include computer vision, particularly structure from motion and related problems, parallel computing, and classification of ladar data for use by autonomous vehicles.  He is currently a senior software engineer at General Dynamics Robotic Systems.
