General Handin Instructions:
- For electronic assignments, prepare your files/folders as appropriate.
- You will be asked to rename the folder. The specific name will vary by assignment.
-
When asked to put your name in a file or folder name, your lastname and firstname do not
need
to be complete and precise - shortened versions are okay.
- Please avoid spaces in filenames. This causes problems when going between andrew, the mac, and windows.
- Do not rename files that you are given unless you are asked to.
- Zip
folders, rather than contents of folders. Instructions for
this are available in the "Using Software" web pages.
- Here is a link to the electronic handin system.
- Be sure to choose the assignment that you are handing in from the pop-up menu.
- Once you have submitted your file, the system will show you a listing
of the files that you submitted. Be sure to check that all of the
necessary files are there.
- The system will sometimes delete some files from your submission.
These files should be only "junk" or "temporary" files that it finds
in your zip file. As long as all of YOUR files are there, you should
be okay.
- The system will send you an email message confirming your submission. KEEP THIS MESSAGE. This will be your
proof that you handed in and when. I recommend that you keep all messages
from the handin system till the end of the semester.
- If you wish to hand in a new submission, you may do so. We will look only at your most recent submission.
