CHI Academy
– The CHI Academy is an honorary group of individuals who have made
extensive contributions to the study of HCI and who have led the
shaping of the field. Members are selected based on cumulative contributions to the HCI field, impact on the field through development of new research directions and/or innovations, influence on the work of others, and participation in the Association for Computing Machinery’s Special Interest Group in Computer-Human
Interaction. ACM SIGCHI, brings together people working on the
design, evaluation, implementation, and study of interactive computing
systems for human use and provides an international,
interdisciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas about the field of human-computer interaction.
