Shafeeq Sinnamohideen
I was a PhD student in Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University. in the research group of Greg Ganger in the Parallel Data Lab. My major research interest in in efficient, consistent and recoverable meta-data storage in large distributed storage systems (such Ursa Major). Previously, I have worked with M. Satyanarayanan at Intel Research Pittsburgh and the Coda Project after completing my undergraduate degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering, both at CMU.
Thesis
Reusing migration to simply and efficiently implement multi-server operations in transparently scalable storage systems.
