I work in multi-agent systems. My current research focuses on augmenting communication networks with supplemental nodes in order to improve communication between groups of nodes. This has applications in multi-agent systems such as future battlefield and disaster response situations, where unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) can act as mobile communication nodes to supplement a wireless ad hoc network between ground-based unmanned vehicles, remote sensors, and people.
