Worked toward improving the quality of Page Area-of-Interest (AOI) targeting in Display Ads on the GDN using Machine Learning.Collected ground truth data and engineered relevant features.Trained, tuned, evaluated and developed a stable model to be used in production.
Working with my research advisor, Professor Louis-Philippe Morency on the analysis of non-verbal behavior for the detection of psychosis. Carried out in collaboration with Harvard Medical School.
Teaching Assistant for the Search Engines course taught by Professor Jamie Callan.
Worked independently on opinion mining to build a customer dissatisfaction engine.Mined company-specific product reviews, extracted correlations to product features, geography, etc. and provided comprehensive visualizations.
Teaching Assistant for the course of Java, taught by the Head of the Department, CSE, PES Institute of technology. Created course presentations and sample lab programs for the student body through the course of the semester.
Worked on an opinion aggregator. Developed a website that allows users to create and post polls under numerous categories and present statistics of the same. Included basic social networking via means of following users in order to view their most recent polls.
