Tobun Dorbin Ng
is a Systems Scientist in School of Computer Science at Carnegie
Mellon University. He earned the MS and PhD degrees in management
information systems from the University of Arizona in 1993 and 2000,
respectively. He also received his BS in business administration
majoring in management information systems and finance from the
University of Arizona in 1990. His research interests include digital
libraries, intelligent and multimedia information retrieval, semantic
extraction and context analysis, semantic interoperability for human
computer interaction and information analysis, large-scale knowledge
discovery using high performance supercomputers, knowledge management,
web-based search engine and user interface development, neural-network
computing and collaborative computing.
