ASCII Soccer is a tool for investigating how groups of simple agents interact while playing a soccer-like game. You can create your own team strategies and test them against others. ASCII Soccer was developed by Tucker Balch , a Ph.D. student in robotics at Georgia Tech. You might also be interested in a more sophisticated, follow on to ASCII Soccer, Java Soccer

Two teams of players attempt to push a ball across the other team's goal. The game is viewed on your screen using patented ASCII-animation(tm) technology.
