[ Vamshi Ambati ]

Welcome. I have graduated from the LTI, School of Computer Science, Carnegie Mellon University (May 2007-Dec 2011). I was advised by Jaime Carbonell and Stephan Vogel , with whom I studied Active Learning and Crowd-Sourcing techniques for building low-resource Machine Translation systems. In the recent past I also worked with Alon Lavie on Automatic Learning of Translation Rules from Parallel Corpus .

I also enjoy the privilege of working with Dr.Raj Reddy on several interesting projects including the Universal Library Project (ULIB). I was actively involved in the creation of a large digital book repository as part of the Digital Library of India (DLI) .
