The Grand Reception will include a dinner, award presentations, and the opportunity to tour Pittsburgh’s National Aviary. The National Aviary is America’s only independent indoor non-profit zoo dedicated exclusively to birds. The National Aviary’s diverse collection comprises more than 600 birds representing more than 200 species from around the world, many of them threatened or endangered in the wild. The entire aviary will be open for VL/HCC 2011 attendees, and we will have a special encounter with a penguin.
