Saw 5 bright Leonids in half an hour around 3am this morning. No 'shower'. But most left bright white-green trails which last up to a few seconds even under the bright moonlight. The sky was surprisingly clear at that time. See below for details.

- Sky Condition: variable clouds (see below), transparency ok, bright last quarter moon, faintest star visible mag 4

- Area of Sky Observed: (the moon)-(Jupiter,Saturn,Hyades)-(Perseus)-(Polaris,head of the Big Dipper)
