M58

Sketch negative, 2000/4/29, with 8" Dobsonian, 25mm eyepiece, 1 degree FOV. Observed from Greene county, Pittsburgh. M58 is at lower left, large, round, bright, w. nucleus. The large, dim smudge at upper right shows no nucleus, and should be either NGC4567 or NGC4568. One of the 'stars' in the middle is NGC4564, but I'm not sure which one.
