The third reenactment depicts the impact one violent crime had on officer Harry Jackson of the Portland, Oregon police department, after he investigated a domestic disturbance call which tragically ended in homicide.

Actor Richard Roundtree hosts two half-hour specials of reality based vignettes depicting the challenges faced everyday by police officers around the country. In the first half-hour, a man suspected of making threatening phone-calls opens fire on Tennessee police officers; Florida narcotics officers bust drug-dealing rodeo cowboys; and a San Diego cop arrests a bat-wielding car-jacker.
