One goal for OpenAFS is for it to run on as many platforms as
possible, and I would prefer that the documentation for it
should also be usable on as many platforms as possible.
Also, when it comes to large documentation, I believe TeX is
better suited to the task than any word-processing program. So,
if you are producing it in both formats and just wondering which
one would get used: I (personally) would pick up the TeX version.
I am glad to see this work going into the conversion of the IBM
documentation. My thanks go to everyone working on it.
