Welcome to ScrollTest

This is a standardized tool designed to mimic everyday scrolling behaviors on a variety of scrolling devices developed by undergraduate student Fatima Yousaf under the supervision of Prof. Brad Myers at Carnegie Mellon University.

ScrollTest is designed to be an open-source platform and for general use. You will have the option to customize your own test by selecting the number of lines you would like and the number of trials.

Citation

The first design for ScrollTest was produced in Prof. Brad Myers' class as a final project by students Cem Ergin, Emily Porat, Sijia Li and Chun Wang in 2019. Chaoran Chen, as a TA, developed a new version that was formally tested in 2022 and is the original developer of the platform.
