An engineer will not use equipment, supplies, laboratory, or office facilities of his employer to carry on outside private practice without consent.

- Code is relevant when:
- Engineer has an employer
AND
Engineer has outside employment
- Code is violated when:
- ( Engineer uses the employer's equipment to carry on outside employment
OR
Engineer uses the employer's supplies to carry on outside employment
OR
Engineer uses the employer's laboratory to carry on outside employment
OR
Engineer uses the employer's office facilities to carry on outside employment )
AND
Engineer does not have his employer's consent
- Code is not violated when
- ( Engineer does not use the employer's equipment to carry on outside employment
AND
Engineer does not use the employer's supplies to carry on outside employment
AND
Engineer does not use the employer's laboratory to carry on outside employment
AND
Engineer does not use the employer's office facilities to carry on outside employment )
OR
Engineer has his employer's consent
