If, in sales employ, he will not offer, or give engineering consultation, or designs, or advice other than specifically applying to the operation of the equipment being sold.

Engineer is employed in sales

Code is violated when:

Engineer offers engineering consultation that is not specifically related to the equipment being sold
OR

Engineer gives engineering consultation that is not specifically related to the equipment being sold
OR
Engineer offers engineering designs that are not specifically related to the equipment being sold

OR
Engineer gives engineering designs that are not specifically related to the equipment being sold

Code is not violated when:

Engineer only offers engineering consultation that is specifically related to the equipment being sold
AND

Engineer only gives engineering consultation that is specifically related to the equipment being sold
AND
Engineer only offers engineering designs that are specifically related to the equipment being sold

AND
Engineer only gives engineering designs that are specifically related to the equipment being sold
