The Engineer may advertise for recruitment of personnel in appropriate publications or by special distribution. The information presented must be displayed in a dignified manner, restricted to firm name, address, telephone number, appropriate symbol, name of principal participants, the fields of practice in which the firm is qualified and factual descriptions of positions available, qualifications required and benefits available.

Code is violated when:

Engineer advertises in an inappropriate publication
OR
The information in the advertisement is not displayed in a dignified manner
OR
The information in the advertisement is not restricted to firm name, address, telephone number, appropriate symbol, name of principal participants, the fields of practice in which the firm is qualified, and a factual description of the available position, required qualifications, and available benefits

Code is not violated when:

Engineer advertises in an appropriate publication
AND
The information in the advertisement is displayed in a dignified manner
AND
The information in the advertisement is restricted to firm name, address, telephone number, appropriate symbol, name of principal participants, the fields of practice in which the firm is qualified, and a factual description of the available position, required qualifications, and available benefits
