The Engineer will undertake engineering assignments for which he will be responsible only when qualified by training or experience; and he will engage, or advise engaging, experts and specialists whenever the client's or employer's interests are best served by such service.

Engineer undertakes a professional assignment

Code is violated when:

Engineer is not qualified by education in the specific technical fields related to the assignment
AND
Engineer is not qualified by experience in the specific technical fields related to the assignment

Code is not violated when:

Engineer is qualified by education in the specific technical fields related to the assignment
OR
Engineer is qualified by experience in the specific technical fields related to the assignment
