III.7.b.

Engineers in salaried positions shall accept part-time engineering work only to the extent consistent with policies of the employer and in accordance with ethical considerations.

Code is relevant when:

Engineer has an employer
AND
Engineer accepts other part-time engineering work

Code is violated when:

The part-time employment violates the policies of the employer
OR
The part-time employment violates ethical considerations

Code is not violated when

The part-time employment does not violate the policies of the employer
AND
The part-time employment does not violate ethical considerations
