I am one of the organizers of MAMCA 2011, at ICME 2011.

The Multimodal Audio-based Multimedia Content Analysis Workshop attempts to be a forum for discussion and dissemination of research in multimedia content analysis where one of the modalities is audio (in the forms of speech, music or generic audio). The workshop aims at bringing together researchers from different backgrounds and communities that can benefit from multimodal analysis of common data.

We hope with this edition of the workshop enough synergies will be generated to support its continuation un future editions.
