Concept 2: Water Xylophone

Brief Description	This toy is intended to provide children with a fun and easy introduction to playing and reading music. The containers will be colored up to the height of water needed to provide a clear indication of how much water the child should add. Sheet music of varying difficulties will be provided in both letter and note form.
Physical Principle Involved	The water xylophone is based on the physics of sound and resonance. Banging on containers of varying height of water produces the various pitches. The height influences the sound waves produced, therefore resulting in the different notes.
Construction Cost	The cost of construction of this project is minimal.
Durability	The only material used to make this product is very durable plastic.
Safety	This product is totally safe for the use of children. Younger children may need assistance in filling the xylophone with water.
