The Boat Blocks are made of a solid but soft-edged plastic which will sink unless assembeled into a boat form, thereby teaching the physical properties of a boat. Pieces are large enough to keep small children from choking, so there is no danger of smaller sibbilings in the same tub.

Depending on the pieces chosen to build your boat the ability to sail straight or resist splashing is effected. Children not only learn how to build an object the will float, but also begin to build an understanding of hoe structures affect movement.
