On July 14th, 2003, Mike and I waved good-bye to our movers, frantically cleaned
our apartment in Pittsburgh and packed the truck for our drive to Palo Alto.
We arrived at our new place on July 21st and these are some pictures from along
the way. Our main site-seeing stops were Graceland, the Grand Canyon and
Sequoia National Park but along the way we also out ran a giant storm in Arizona,
ate green chile in Albuquerque, saw the world's largest cross, ate at the Texas Steak Ranch and visited Cadillac Ranch.
Right now most of our photos have not yet been developed but I will add them as they are printed and scanned in.
Cadillac Ranch, just outside of Amarillo Texas. You drive west on the I-40, pull off onto an access road and in the middle of a farmer's field are 10 classic Cadillac's planted face down into the ground. |
A rather zen-like shot of me walking amongst the Cadillacs. Check out Ant Farm's Cadillac Ranch page for more information about the Ranch. |
