ANNOUNCEMENTS

• (6/26) The final exam will be given in two parts: Part I on Thursday, June 27 at 4:30PM in GHC 5201 and Part II on Friday, June 28 at 10:30AM in GHC 4211. Part I will cover material from the first three weeks of class ( from the history of computing up through and including data representation). Part II will cover material from the last three weeks of class (from computer organization up through and including the future of computing). Please alert me if you have a conflict with another course. See SCHEDULE & EXAMS for more information and suggested practice problems for Part II.
• (6/24) Lab exam 2 will be held on Tuesday, June 25 at 4:30PM in GHC 5201. The syntax reference sheet, including Graphics commands, is posted on the SCHEDULE & EXAMS page.
• (6/15) Written Exam 2 will be held on Tuesday, June 18. Sample exam problems are posted on the SCHEDULE & EXAMS page. Please read the instructions carefully.
• (6/7) Lab exam 1 will be held on Monday, June 10 at 4:30PM in GHC 5201. The syntax reference sheet is posted under SCHEDULE & EXAMS.
• (6/2) Sample exam problems have been posted on the SCHEDULE & EXAMS page. Please read the instructions carefully.
• (5/28) Written Exam #1 will be given on Tuesday, June 4 in class. The exam will cover all material taught during the first two weeks of class.
• (5/20) The Academic Integrity Contract is due on Tuesday, May 21 in class. You must submit this in order to receive grades in this class.
• (5/19) Class begins Monday, May 20. Class has two parts each day: lecture at 10:30AM and lab/extra help at 4:30PM.
