Zichao Yang (杨子超)

I'm a Ph.D. student in the Computer Science Department at CMU, where I work with Prof. Alex Smola. I am interested in machine learning, deep learning and their applications in computer vision, natural language processing. Before coming to CMU, I obtained my master degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong, advised by Prof. John C.S. Lui and my bachelor degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University.

I previously interned in Google DeepMind working with Chris Dyer and Phil Blunsom, and MSR working with Xiaodong He, Jianfeng Gao and Li Deng.
