• Why do people sing "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" when they are already there?

• Neither songwriter Albert von Tilzer or Jack Norworth (who wrote the lyrics) had ever been to a baseball game when they penned "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" in 1908. It was not until after the song was a hit that either attended an "old ballgame."
