Extra Credit Guidelines
Section D
15-212, Spring 1998
Extra credit portions of programming projects are for your edification
and entertainment only (and, of course, some extra credit). However, they should not interfere with your other work, and so the following guidelines apply:
- Extra credit is due at the same time as the program (typically, Wednesday at 9 a.m.
- Extra credit will not be graded if any portion of the main assignment is submitted late
- Extra credit will be granted as a percentage above your main assignment grade. That is, if you get a 90 on your assignment, 10% extra credit will get you a 99. However, if you get a 0 on your assignment, 10% extra credit will get you nothing.
- If it seems to me that you didn't spend enough time on your main program, I won't grade the extra credit (I'll be reasonable about this, so just act in good faith).
