I am a second year graduate student and Research Assistant in the program of Language Technologies, at Language Technologies Institute(LTI), Carnegie Mellon University(CMU). And I am advised by Professor Jamie Callan.

I have broad interests in language technologies, especially information retrieval, information extraction, and machine learning approaches in these areas. Before coming to CMU, I received my B.S. in Computer Science at Beihang University, China. In 2013, I spent 9 months at Microsoft Research Asia, Knowledge Mining Group, as a research intern, working with Lead Researcher Yunbo Cao on grounding search enging queries to knowledge base attributes. In Fall 2012, I was an exchange student at National University of Singapore. Supervised by Prof. Tat-Seng Chua, I was a part-time developer at NExT Search Center on a real-time user generated content crawler. For more detail, check out my CV here.
