My research interests are in the areas of design, analysis, and control of robots and other systems. With my colleagues at the Space Robotics Laboratory that I'm directing, we developed several space telerobotic systems and zero-gravity testbed. Based on the experimental systems we developed, we have been working on the problems related to dynamics and control of space robots, underactuated systems, gyroscopically stabilization, real-time control, human control strategy, modular mobile manipulator, and assembly planning and control. I'm teaching 16-743 Robot Control and occasionally 18-384 Robot Systems, and directing The Robotics Education Labloratory.
