• 12/11: Writeups due
  Writeups are due Wed 12 December at 11pm. Email them to James Hendricks. Please see the projects section.
  
• 12/11: Exams graded
  Exams are graded and statistics are available in the exams section. You can pick up your exam from Angela Miller (WeH 8215).
  
• 11/26: CMU Course Assessments now open
  The CMU University Course Assessment system is now open. It makes the university very happy when you fill course assessments out, so when you get a second, remember to fill them out.
  
• 11/13: Writeup outline due 11/30
  A short outline of your project writeup is due 11/30 (see the project section). We are requesting an outline to ensure your writeup is on the right track.
  
• 11/6: Thursday meetings
  Send email to Angela Miller (amiller@cs.cmu.edu) to schedule a project meeting for this Thursday.
  
• 11/2: Exams graded and returned
  Exams were returned in class. Statistics are available in the exams section. If you missed class, you can pick up your exam from Angela Miller (WeH 8215).
  
• 10/24: Sample Exam
  A sample midterm is now online in the exams section.
  
• 10/22: Project Proposals
  We've set up a project proposal page with links to all the project proposals from groups that have allowed us to post their proposals (CMU-only).
  
• 09/18: Project Wiki
  We've set up a project wiki page set up for people to use to coordinate project ideas and find partners.
  
• 09/09: First day of class
  If you are registered or on the waitlist for 15-712, you should have gotten an email from the instructor. If you did not get this email, let us know. There are two readings due for the first day of class: "Hints for Computer System Design" and Section 2-2.1 ("Worse is Better") of "LISP: Good News, Bad News, How to Win Big". See the course syllabus.
  
• 09/01: Class starts September 10
  The first day of class will be Monday, September 10.
