Gallery Call for Submissions

Submit a GigaPan

This is a juried exhibition open to all gigapans publicly available on http://gigapan.org. Recent work that addresses the theme of GigaPixel Imaging for Science is welcome. Limit one submission per person. The show will feature large-format prints, more than one meter wide each. All accepted submissions will be professionally printed in Pittsburgh and on display throughout the conference at a gallery TBD. Please submit your entry by May 10, 2010. Accepted submissions will be notified by email by August 6th, 2010.

Submissions should include:

  1. Basic information about your gigapan: title, date of completion, location, and equipment used
  2. URL to the gigapan you’re submitting (e.g. http://gigapan.org/gigapans/37034/)
  3. Please include atleast 6 well-annotated snapshots that tell the science story of your gigapan
  4. Brief 50-word summary of your gigapan
  5. Full description of the image and how it applies to your research or work (maximum 2 pages)
  6. A short biography
  7. Contact information
  8. A statement of permissions to use the gigapan, along with any credits needed for presentation and publication
