Pull-Back Powered Racecar
The Concept:
Pull-Back Powered Racecar
- Allows children of ages 7 and up to interact directly with kinematics and mechanics.
- A built-in geartrain and spring store energy and provide a torque to the rear wheels after being wound by rolling the car backward.
- Shows a simple example of the conversion of kintetic energy to potential energy and then back to kinetic energy.
- Based on other pull-back or windup moving toys.
- The car should cost no more than a few dollars to manufacture, will be simple enough to endure use from children and will be constructed almost entirely of plastic. The car sholug be about 4 to 6 inches in length and thus large enough to eliminate choking hazard
