These graphics demonstrate the usefulness of SAGE for integrating conventional techniques in ways which are not possible in commercial packages. Current packages (e.g., in spreadsheet and presentation software) require users to select from among over 100 styles but provide no mechanism for aligning or merging them in a single display or for customizing them. The graphic above shows SAGE's ability to merge and align outlines, charts and text tables to integrate hierarchical, quantitative and categorical information about activities in a project management system.
