When WebMate is in browsing mode, at the end of each page you see on the internet, you will see an applet that provides you with a list of tools for working with the current page. You will also see the url letting you know your current internet address, and what time it is. The image below shows you what the way WebMate interfaces with your browser, and how you can call WebMate up while browsing the internet.
"Check" also monitors the availability of the links in a HTML pages. This provides you with a way to maintain your web pages, since WebMate will find and delete the dead links in your written pages according to the Check results.
