| Notes | (1) This ship is designed to serve as a general purpose facility for squadron and larger units assigned to long-term deployments on stations where normal crew liberty/leave facilities are not present (usually due to lack of inhabited or habitable bodies in an otherwise strategically important system). (2) Passenger capacity is for supported-force personnel using the onboard recreational facilities. (3) The PCL/PCLE Complement stated here consists of a total of 50 craft. Of these, 10 and their crews are permanently assigned to the Caravanserai itself: a squadron of 8 active and 2 reserve craft, with the active craft stationed in the port/starboard launch bays. The two reserve craft from the assigned squadron are carried as ready-access cargo. (4) Up to 40 PCL/PCLE and their crews/support personnel may be carried to function as replacements/reserve for deployed squadrons. These craft may be launched in pairs through the stern cargo hatches, at a rate of 6 per minute. | |
