Yaoliang Yu (于耀亮)

I am a research scientist affiliated with the center for machine learning and health, the machine learning department, and the sailing lab directed by Eric Xing, all at CMU.

Prior to coming to CMU, I obtained my PhD from University of Alberta, under the supervision of Dale Schuurmans and Csaba Szepesvári.

My research revolves around machine learning, statistics, and optimization, with applications in computer vision and multimedia.
