Requirements and Grading

1. Assignments. There will be weekly or bi-weekly assignments, including a mix of problem solving and computing.
   

2. Exams. There will be a take home midterm sometime in March, and a take home final at the end of the course.
   

3. Project. Students will complete a major project on some aspect of the statistical learning approaches covered in the course.
   

Each of the three categories above will be weighed roughly equally (30-40%) in grading for the course.
