Established in memory of Erik Riedel, an alumnus of the university’s School of Computer Science and College of Engineering, to honor his commitment to diversity and inclusion in the field of computer science. This fund provides support for events and gatherings for doctoral students in the the School of Computer Science, with a preference for students who are underrepresented in SCS, as determined by the university.
