A video of Andre Platzer, assistant professor computer science, is among those of other scientists, industry leaders, artists, politicians and students featured on the John F. Kennedy Library and Museum's new JFK 50 microsite, http://www.jfk50.org/. Platzer, who was one of Popular Science's Brilliant 10 in 2009, discusses his research in verifying that critical hybrid systems work as intended.
The website, geared towards teens and young adults, commemorates the 50th anniversary of President Kennedy's inauguration and administration. NASA Administrator Charles Bolden, MSNBC commentator Chris Matthews, comedian Stephen Colbert, musician Wynton Marsalis and U.S. Rep. Barney Frank are among the other notables included in the website's Legacy Gallery.
