The Robotics Institute’s Field Robotics Center is celebrating its first 30 years of building robots that work in places that can be rugged, unstructured and even downright dangerous. FRC 30, Oct. 10-11, will be an alumni-focused event that includes a seminar by Center Director William “Red” Whittaker, a group photo, and plenty of time for socializing.
