Carnegie Mellon Hosts SIGMETRICS 2013

Carnegie Mellon University will host SIGMETRICS 2013, the flagship conference of the ACM special interest group for the computer systems performance evaluation community, June 17-21. Most sessions are scheduled in the Gates and Hillman centers.

Conference keynote speakers are Balaji Prabhakar of Stanford University and David Maltz of Microsoft Research_¶_¶_s etworking Research Group. Four workshops also are scheduled. Among those presenting workshop keynotes are Rayid Ghani (CS 2001), who was chief scientist for the Obama for America 2012 Campaign and is now at the Computation Institute and Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. Marija D. Ilić, professor of electrical and computer engineering and engineering and public policy, also will present a workshop keynote.
