Chris acts as a liaison between industry and the faculty, students and research in the School of Computer Science. He builds personal relationships with key leaders, working to understand their unique challenges and identifying the best path for engagement.

Before joining the Partnerships team, Chris was a senior coordinator on the Store Operations and Store Technology teams at American Eagle Outfitters (AEO). Chris facilitated the deployment of technology to stores that streamlined communication, enhanced customer engagement and strengthened leadership effectiveness. He also built a relationship between AEO and CMU, resulting in the sponsorship of capstone courses and internships. Prior to AEO, his career in Apple Retail helped his customer-centric approach by providing the opportunity to train and consult with businesses.

Outside work, Chris can be found tackling DIY projects, building furniture in his garage, running, cycling and camping. He enjoys life with his wife and three sons.
