- 10/10: Sample midterm posted
A sample exam has been posted. Happy studying!
- 10/9: Checkpoint 4
A checkpoint 4 has been posted for more cool points! It tests a network with multiple servers and routing daemons, your routing tables, and the state stored at each routing daemon.
- 10/5: Checkpoint 3/
A checkpoint 3 has been posted for cool points! It tests stand alone router functionality, meaning that none of the tests require multiple routers and reading of LSAs yet. Passing these tests will ensure that your router can handle basic commands from your server, and keep track of its own local users and channels. This functionality is needed to properly build LSAs. We will soon put out a modified version to test multiple routers, routing of messages to users, and routing of messages to channels. Good luck!
- 10/4: UDP Example Code.
For a lack of UDP example code in the socket programming lecture, we have posted a sample UDP client and server. There may also be some hints in the code about data structures for your routing daemon...
- 9/28: Checkpoint 2 Late Submission and Grades.
You may submit checkpoint 2 late, by *midnight* tonight, for a 2 point deduction. You can get your checkpoint 2 grades from the file: tags/checkpoint2/GRADE.TXT in your repository tomorrow, svn update to get your grades. If you are late submitting you must e-mail George so he knows to regrade your repository.

- 9/25: Update Checkpoint 2 Script.
Please download fresh copies of your checkpoint 2 script, changes have been made over the past couple of days, none of which should change a pass to a fail, only some fails to passes. Messages are posted to the board when updates are made
