Research Summary: Focusing on FeaturesThe I.L.S.A. team used the approach illustrated here define system functionality. Through analyses of information gathered in our research activities, we identified opportunities to develop new home-care technologies for elder independence. After identifying technology opportunities, we used a series of Six-sigma tools decide which opportunities to pursue. The result was an initial feature set of 20 items.
