Features: Our site allows users to search for events based on criteria, or simply view upcoming events on a calendar. The three primary search types are by cuisine, by food type, or by attendees. Users can also review events they attended, or search for or recommend recipes. Users can annotate recipes and menus based on their experience, create their own events, or join existing ones. Themes: The warm colors and social atmosphere we captured in our mood board carry over into the site design, which features pictures of happy people cooking together and allows users to select events based on who is attending, create private events for existing friends, or see what events a friend is attending. How to navigate the site:To follow Daphne's path, enter anything in the address and zip code field, and click go. This will take you to the Search Results page. From here, choose 'Select Dish From Menu', then 'Sign Me Up For This Dish'. To follow Hank's path, enter anything into the address and zip code field, expand the Main Ingredient tab, check the box next to Fish, and click go. You should find yourself in the search results page. Like Daphne's path, click 'Select Dish From Menu' and 'Sign Me Up For This Dish'. |
