Bio
Ivan Ruchkin is a PhD candidate at the Institute for Software Research, Carnegie Mellon University. His research interests are in techniques and tools for integrating diverse models of cyber-physical systems.
Ivan received a Specialist Degree in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science (with honors) from the Lomonosov Moscow State University in 2011. Ivan held several software engineering positions in the industry, including participation in the Google Summer of Code program and an internship at NASA JPL.
Ivan's research on integrating models of cyber-physical systems was recognized internationally. Ivan received Best Paper Awards in the Component-Based Software Engineering Symposium and the World Forum on the Internet of Things, and a Gold Medal in the ACM SRC student competition at the MODELS conference.
